Fear nothing. Forgive nothing. Destroy everything. Take a look at the havoc you can wreak and the mechs you can wreak it in, in this exclusive trailer for Armored Core V.
Fear Nothing?? Forgive Nothing?? Destroy Everything?? That's pretty inaccurate, since doing that in an Armored Core game will kill you...
They need to make a movie like this
i like how its all dubstep. lol
@BeatMastaFlex dude where have you been? This is the game series that made them make chromehounds but its so much better in every way. EDIT: damn dubstep videos another series tainted by it XD
AWESOME!!!!!
I saw something interesting in this game it has a similar feeling of the PS1 armored cores I like that.
is this anything like chromehounds? i loved playing that game
This song is in so many different trailers and I love it!
I can't recall any other game where I had so much fun customizing my mech before I even tested it out on the battlefield!
Nice!
I've been playing AC since ps1 days and have never looked back.
Another thing people need to know about this series, it's all about building. If you're not into upgrading, customizing, and fine-tuning, this game's not for you. The last AC game had over 300 different weapons/parts. That's about 10 times more than most mech games. And you have WAY more customization options than you'll ever see in most RPGs, much less action games. No 2 people in the world will have the exact same setup. You can spend all day working on your mech and then you go and test your design online. That's what this game's all about.
@david1230 Exactly mate, what you can't tell by watching a gameplay video is the 'feel' of the game, and something gamers don't seem to talk about any more is play-control. That used to be its own category in game reviews, for some reason it's not anymore. Armored Core games have impeccable play control, your mech responds exactly how you tell it to and it really makes it hard to put the controller down. In the older AC games, you had to use up a ton of energy just to hover so you could only stay airborne for several seconds. Now, you can practically fly. Super addictive.
The trailer looks good. Hope the game is worth it..
WHY NO PC i want to play this game with mouse T_T
@gDamascus I know, that's why I am a fan of AC.
I'll definitely have to check this one out. I only ever played 4 on my roommate's 360 and V seems to be pretty cool so far. Personally, though, I'm still holding out hope for a Chromehounds 2...
Love the cinematics so far. But after playing a few AC games in the past I won't be getting this new... Also, the dubstep feels nice :D
Dub Dub wubba wubba STEP!
heh pretty good.
what i really want is the background song oh and the game looks fun too!
never played any before, not sure what to expect but looks like some fun chaos. multiplayer looks like it would be frustrating though. whoever pops off the first round of missiles wins kinda deal. but...i may pick this up. i'm interested. loved gundams as a kid, this looks more like how any gundam game should have ever been. or closer to it anyway.
Ugh...I never understood peoples facination with Mech crap. At least, not here in the states. Its more of a Japanese thing....
I hate dubstep, but I have to admit it does kind of make sense with mechs.
From it's gameplay it doesn't really look that good.
I don't understand. Am I supposed to write Armoredcore-5.com or Armoredcore-V.com or should I put the V as the letter?
From the intro to the music I was expecting a good old rave to Run DMC and "It's like that". Sadly not! Still, pretty cool vid :)
@shantd I hope people do give it a chance. I do agree gameplay videos don't do the actual game justice. If you play and see how well the control schemes are for this game it's quite fun to play, alot of choices of upgrades and AC's in general, he's right though people just give the game a chance you'll be surprised and especially since the xbox version of mechwarrior is gone this is the only true mech series going.
@Temperedelm From Software in general has never been great at story. What they are good at is building phenomenal game mechanics. Armored Core, Otogi, the Souls games, all of them blow me away with how deep the gameplay is. As long as that's intact, we're good.
I have always been a fan of AC, but not expecting much story wise, the game has never been strong there.
Looks good...better than good actually. Really looking forward to it
I thought the song fit well with the video. I enjoy dubstep, but it is starting to get over-used. Love these games. Hope it turns out great.
@GodsPoison Lol It started up a i was readin your comment. [See Thefatness16's av] (But seriously -.-)
To be honest, I have never been much of a fan of Robot games but if they do it right, it would be very decent, seems pretty decent
Dubstep + Battlefield 3-like trailer = Great! I don't know about you, but it didn't have many gameplay shots until near the end...Oh well, it still looks good!
One of the most underrated series of all time. Probably the best example of a game that doesn't look great when you watch gameplay videos, but once you've got the controller in your hands you can't put it down. Give this game a chance, people. Trust me.
Ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten, ten. :)
I won't lie, I'm still probably going to buy it. I haven't missed an Armored Core game since the first one on the Playstation. Though the whole Armageddon/Rebuild/Armageddon theme is running a bit thin.
NERO is awesome and has a lot of variety. Check them out!
love dubstep!!!

Was that a mechs penis at 00:21? Also why do people think dubstep makes everything better when it really doesnt?!
Hey guise, our trailer has lights in it! Let's throw some dubstep in there!
You guys are crazy, Nero makes amazing music, and I don't even like dubstep. I do have to admit though that unless you listen to the whole album, they don't seem that impresive.
the music was god aweful, muted it after 30 seconds, otherwise the it looks to be shaping well. i liked IV but came in a bit late for the MP, but i never understood what the hell was going on story wise. always felt like cutscenes were missing.
This looks okay. The graphics and gameplay looked amazing until I actually saw the gameplay. If you looked super closely but I'm pretty sure you weren't because of coarse, you were just listening to that okay dubstep. Anyways, if you looked closely, the graphics looked a little cheesy and not at its best. I bet the dubstep made people look forward to this game. LOL. I don't know whether this is going to be good or not.

Pretttty sure you have to have brain damage to like dubstep.
Game looks great but the music is annoying as hell
looks sick! i'd play it
