Clearly an expansion that incorporates more parts, weapons and missions.

This game was a bit lackluster in terms of being more of the same from the first game. Yes, you do have more parts to work with and you can make more combos. One of the cooler features is that you can import your previously built AC from the first game into this game and start from the beginning with a core that you are familiar with. It makes all the different as suppose to building a new core from scratch which can be a bit frustrating. Also you can import your AC's emblem that usually is in the form of another file that complements your game save from the first game. With these aspects starting you out it's more of a reward for the gamer that invested time and money into the first game. The story was an interesting ride up until the ending and it was a bit predictable. Overall it's an expansion game that will bring the fan of the first game back to try their hand with this one.
