Game review + winning AC build inside

User Rating: 10 | Armored Core: Nexus PS2
Review
For whatever reason, the Armored Core series has always been extremely underrated. I will concede that some of the missions can be boring, but everything else about the game is incredible. The art style is awesome, the mech customization is deep and rewards spending time in the garage. Many of the missions are fun and require you to tweak your AC's a certain way. The Arena pits you versus other mechs in 1v1 matchups which can be incredibly fun. Some of the music tracks are lame, but the main track you hear in the garage is awesome and fitting in my opinion.

Armored Core: Nexus is the epitome of quality in the AC series, and anyone with even a remote interest in customizing giant mechs for total destruction should check it out.

AC Build: Blastoise
This is my game-winning AC build. It will utterly destroy all the Arena fights including Genobee, Nine Breaker (Final boss) and missions which have you fighting only a few strong MT's/AC's. The most critical components are the tank legs and the shoulder laser cannon, get these first. The focus is on tankiness and high powered energy weapons.
