Terrible performance, poor Engine with no changes to the code and ridiculous A.I.

Dwarden, one of the developers who uses Steam, pretty much confirmed that the Engine, at least for optimisation, has not changed. He claims that using a lot of sub threads will not help as making the Engine use multiple cores is not as easy as slapping it in or modifying the existing Engine. As a result of this, 1 core is responsible for a lot of the work - the faster the core the better. He also pointed out that the Engine only uses 2GB of RAM.

My system when testing:

Core i5-2500K, 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3, OCd 7870

= 17fps on High Settings, no AA.

Some people with very expensive Crossfire / SLI setups also complain of low frame rates.

Other than the Engine that destroys the game, the graphics look very good and the water looks amazing. Vehicles are fun to use, but some 4 wheelers cannot crawl up tiny slopes faster than 2mph.

Let's not forget A.I that can see your through bushes, smoke and over very long distances, with the precision to shoot the head from your soldiers with a single shot within an instant.

A lot of potential, but nothing short of a complete let down.
