@shinhin - Obviously you're new here? :P This is a PC game, and therefore once it was clear there wouldn't be any chance of an Xbox version, Gamespot ignored it - Just like basically every other game these days which isn't released to the console crowd. If it doesn't have a huge audience, or a console version coming to appease the kiddies, it doesn't get attention from Gamespot... (Flame on!) @Alex_09 - You're right, there is no "Takistan". There is a "Tajikistan" though. On the borders of Afghanistan/Uzbekistan/Kyrgyzstan and China. The devs have a thing against using real names for their locations, but they always seem to base the terrain on real world location. Which is why you won't find a "Chernarus" through google maps, but you would be able to find the part of Czech republic on which Chernarus was based on. @peevka2000 - Check out the Bohemia Interactive forums mate, there are many people already playing this on mac OS - Not entirely sure if they use bootcamp or not, but worth a look.

Since they're not doing it on 360 where do I start a petition to get ARMA for mac. I Don't wanna use bootcamp btw

Hey game spot why donut you get some fresh info on this game and tell us if it is coming out or not. Your suppose to be are main line on this up to date info.are you not? If it's dead get off your site. I really love Arma and would love to play it on xbox.

I wouldn't worry Gelugon, i don't think an Xbox version is very likely. Infact if i recall they never actually stated that it was being worked on, just that they would "like to" do it. It's really not going to be possible without a major downsizing of features, controls etc.. So even if they manage to squeeze the whole game onto an Xbox, it will no longer be the huge detailed game that fans love and i don't think the company would want a watered down version of Arma on consoles. Maybe with the next generation of consoles they might take a closer look, but at the moment they're simply not powerful enough to provide Arma to console players in all it's glory.

Now ARMA II has become a tactical strategy game of sorts. The PC version's interface appears to be adequate, but I have some worries about the Xbox 360 version.

I could see myself spending an entire day setting up a co-ordinated attack using High Command. Brings an even greater amount of flexibility and detail to this combat simulator.
