Better than arma 1 but still not there.

User Rating: 7 | ArmA II PC
- The AI takes cover more often now whenever it moves from one point to another. But sometimes they take cover in front of objects.

-The graphics are way better than arma. I rate it a 10.

-The AI is 10x smarter than Arma.

-The game engine still doesn't have a built in fast rope, underwater swimming (only above water), no missels for the ship, still can't walk in the cabin of an airplane or helicopter, still can't drive something into the cargo of a plane or helicopter and fly with it, still can't carry two riffles, still can't holster either of your weapons (and be hands free) and you still can't use a flashlight, IR beam or laser on a riffle.

-You can do a fireman's carry, you can drag your comrades, you can command a large army, you can do RTS style conversations, HALO is built in, artillery is built in and you can now reload while walking/running. But when you shave to switch weapons the game engine will stop your running/walking.

Overall it's a lot better than arma 1. But at the same time, the game has so much potential, that you feel BIS is purposely not unleashing all of it's capabilities on us. There is so much that VBS2 can do and the arma series is just a mini-me of the VBS series of games. What I don't understand is why something like cargo transporting or driving vehicles into planes/helicopters (something that has been done since Delta Force 4) is so difficult for this game engine to do. The only thing that we the community would like more than anything else is the basics of combat: carrying two riffles, transporting vehicles by air & transporting vehicles by ship (the game does allow you to use the LHD-9 ship, but the AI has a hard time using the deck, walking around on the deck, landing on the deck and taking off from the deck).
