Once I tried this simulation, I never lay my hands on Call Of Duty again.

How to put this? ARMA 2 is not just a game, it's more likely to be a military simulation, I have never seen guns sound and fire more realistic than this one, for those who like gun and run, you'd probably find this game very, very hard.

Most of the combat, like in reality, happen over 100-400m, some were even over 600m. where you could barely see your target and be easily taken down if not operating as a group. To succeed in the game, you need TACTICS. Your team. Your map/GPS locator. And your excellent eyesight. Before every skirmish, you need to PLAN how to attack/flank/ambush/snipe the enemy and the escape route. Anything taken slightly would probably results in your death in just 1-2 shots.

And sniping is also part of the art in the game, when the distance is over 600m, you'd find your target hard to be taken down even with a sniper rifle. Wind speed, gravity, bullet drops, vertical angles, altitudes, targets movements should all be checked before act.

Patience is also vital in the game. Sometimes, you can't even have chance to kill a single insurgent in ENTIRE battle, with all the battles going on around you, you feel so much like a single pawn/soldier taking part of the war.

The game is free-roaming, graphic is brilliant, combat is awesome, simulation is excellent, sound is perfect, gameplay's wicked but..
Storyline is weak , voice-act is terrible, system requirement's demanding, occasional bugs and crashes.

Overall:8.5/10
