I have installed this game 3 times. So far this last is the best installation. The previous tries were met with freeze ups and character facing east and unable to turn around. Could walk backwards to a spot, but not turn around to shoot. This last install doesn't freeze, but the frame rates drop to such a point the game is unplayable. I've searched websites for answers and have seen anything from buy a new computer to remove all but 2G ram from my system to creating a ram-drive. Let's see if I understand this. I pay 50 bucks for a buggy game, or 90 bucks for something that works. Will this be our option soon? I certainly do not mind patching a game before playing. But I feel we should not need to spend hours experimenting working out the bugs that they made and charged us for. I really like the parts I was able to play. Thought this was gonna be a great game to play. Now it is nothing but an expensive disappointment.
