ArmA: Combat Operations User Review
It took Bohemia roughly 7 years to follow up with their great Operation Flashpoint... but the product was this?!

- "Broken"
Take Operation Flashpoint, get even worse voice actors, a hideous engine, make combat even slower and more cumbersome, and kill all the things that made the original the greatest simulation ever made.
For instance, regardless of how high you set your mouse sensitivity, your aim is so sluggish you'll end up dying from enemy fire before you can aim at the second enemy in a group. Yeah, it's nice how the iron sights work and is more realistic, but even in real life it's easier and faster to aim.
In a game where playing a foot solider is the primary draw of the game and the shooting mechanics suck, the game, as a result = sucks.
The one thing that was kept intact is the map editor, but since combat is made terrible, why even play your own maps?
Maybe I'm biased having played Operation Flashpoint for many years before even touching this, but if you did the same, I'm sure you'd also come to the same conclusion.

It's an acquired taste, but if combat simulators are your thing, ArmA has a lot on offer.
