Arcania: Gothic 4 User Review
A good Gothic game...if you`re not one of those "hardcore" types...

Lots of people on the internet, mostly "hardcore" gamers (as they call themselves) have been bashing this game because of its easiness...and its Gothic title. They seem to find every little flaw about this game even though its predecessors had much more flaws.
GOOD SIDES OF THE GAME
+Graphics are beautiful! No AA but the textures are amazing!
+You meet characters from the older games
+Some side-quests are fun
+Good armor and weapons models
+Good combat
+Atmosphere
BAD SIDES OF THE GAME
-Some of the voice acting is horrible (like that Witch Lyrca)
-Sometimes the main story can confuse you
-The game world IS NOT FULLY open to explore! There are invisible barriers!
-Fighting stronger enemies can sometimes be boring after a while
-Enemies are too easy to defeat
-Theres really no point in going back once you pass the quests settlements have to offer
This game is not GOTY material but I had a blast playing it besides its flaws. Maybe next Gothic (if theres gonna be one) should be more challenging and with less invisible walls. I recommend this game for beginners in RPG world.
