Arcania: Gothic 4 User Review
- Difficulty:
- Very Easy
- Time Spent:
- 10 Hours or Less
- The Bottom Line:
- "Been there, done that"
Tries to emulate elements from both dragon age and oblivion but comes up short
-The open world is not offer as much freedom as Oblivion. You cant go into water, you cant even cross a small stream. -Graphics are average but requires a lot of system power.
-Story line is extremely cliched and not compelling at all.
-Voice acting is terrible, conversations are bland.
-Combats are too easy and boring.
-Characters are not interesting at all, even the hero you control seems to be a stiff.
The game developers lacks creativity and originality and this game is the product of that. I seriously wonder if the developers actually play games themselves and if they actually invest money in things such as hiring writers, voice actors and testing teams. This game would have been a treasure if it was made 10 years ago but game such as Oblivion and Dragon Age has set the standards high.

A simplistic RPG that will suit the lowest common dominator but enjoyable enough to keep you going until the end.

This is a movie I made showing off a town and a walk through some of the wilderness. I usually get around 30 or 40 fps with my new 8600 GT.Posted Sep 29, 2007
