What's up with the huge hips?

The Bottom Line:
"Almost, but not quite"
One of the oddest things about Arc the Lad in my opinion is the fantastic width of the character's hips. :) Why they chose to make all the characters swell in the middle is something I can't possibly answer. That aside, Arc the Lad is a decent RPG. But that's about it. None of the characters are particularly memorable, although it's sort of fun to take turns playing first the humans, then the Deimos, or monsters.

This is very much a strategy RPG, and you take turns moving your characters around the battlefield and executing attacks and magic. The story was a bit bland for me, and I kept playing just in hopes of getting the end. Combat itself is somewhat interesting, but there's nothing new here that hasn't been done better. It is a very long game and not really worth it my opinion. There are much better titles out there to invest your time in.
