A solid RPG

User Rating: 8.2 | Arc: Twilight of the Spirits PS2
Arc the Lad Twilight of the Spirits is the only game that I've played in the series, but even without the backstory of it, I was still able to enjoy this enthralling game. Twilight of the Spirits takes you into the hands of the games two main character Kharg and Darc. Kharg is that cliched prince type while Darc is a half monster, half human hybrif who's a slave of an evil toad lady, no not Umbridge, but a monster named Geedo.

The game let's you play alternately between their stories. The story of the game captures you even if its not too deep and complex. Darc's story in my opinion is the better of the two since his is not cliched unlike Kharg's I especially love the puppetmaster in the game that you'll evenyually have as an ally in darc's party named Bebedora. She's just so odd, What really pulled me in is the battle system. It's turned based and takes place over a grid where you can move your players, weapon range plays a big part of it as long or wide range weapons can hit multiple enemies at once. The game is average in length and has a few sidequests for for a little replay value, like obtaining secret characters In the end arc the Lad Twilight of the Spirits is a solid RPG that shouldn't be missed.
