People who dislike turn-based games, out of principle, do so because they're braindead. Good turn-based games are tactical in nature and make the player think every move, something the retarded gamers who complaint can't do. Yes, I like my FPS in real-time, thank you very much, same with Racing or Action games, but when it comes to RPG, Strategy or Adventure, there's plenty of room for quality turn-based gaming, and I hope that won't go away anytime soon.
It looks like tales of symphonia with turnbased.i like my tales games live action but this looks ok.
They should make more classical RPG games in Wii like this one..

This interface and art style looks very familiar to recent games in the Tales series. Looks good.

Holy balls people. You're going to really make so many comments on the fact that it's turn based...... "oh no, not turn based!" It will be fine, if it's making a US debut it's most likely a pretty good RPG. My advice, rent the game before buying, that way you will know whether or not the turn bases gameplay is too much for you to handle. Or, the other good advice would be to invest into a system that has more games you could potentially like. My advice, avoid Valhalla Knights. Action RPG, absolutely terrible.
Its been WAY too long. Might be just as excited bout this as FF13. Does look like a Tales game but since its turn based makes it BETTER.

Turn based can be good. Remember Final Fantasy X? For such an RPG starved system I may give this a try.
I really hope that this game has an excellent story..... NOTE: Oh, and I still like turn based rpgs, just not as good as real time ones. Thats why I think that I will give this game a try. Besides it might be like Symphonia.
I think that I will get it, but I agree I like rpgs that are real time. And I really hate turn based, they are boring!! I hope this game is like Tales of Symphonia.

well... this game is not for wii because lack of real motion controls... the wii is now a low cost development plataform for small developers make money fast... Im sory not interested, I own a Ps3 to play the old way with HI-Res... my wii deserve more than that crap as aways turn based RPG yes I love RPGs but not turn based, but i know there still a lot of people that loves it, I do not understand why the FFXII style wont prevail over it (semi-turn-based is a lot better and gives you more fun)... MONOTONOUS TURN FAIL! no offense... there is no way in hell it's gonna look as good as ES or play like it... ES has more interaction and you cam move during battles... more like FFXII that a lot of fans hate but a love!....

This game reminds me of the Grandia series combat system, this game looks really interesting. It would be nice to get some more rpg's on a console.
Am I the only one quietly wondering why this game's art style and HUD look so much like an updated version of Eternal Sonata's? Is Tri-Crescendo involved with this game in anyway? Because I know Bandai-Namco isn't, apparently...
