im not too worried about the voice acting, so im still gonna get it.

Not digging the voice acting here. Looks alright so far but we'll just have to wait and see...

I like the game it is good i like the fighting

Well, at least we can see why Ignition decided to leave Japanese voice acting when they localized Muramasa. Their English voice acting is horrible, so it wouldn't have been a good idea for them to voice act Muramasa in English. It makes me cringe hearing both the voice acting and the incredibly cheesy lines themselves. While cheesiness can add charm to a game, I do not think that is the case here. This is just my opinion of course. The gameplay doesn't look that interesting, but I could be wrong. We'll just have to see what they do over the next month.

YES BLONDE GUY WE ARE READY PLEASE STOP ASKING. Jokes aside, I'm really interested in this game, even with the god-awful voice acting.

overall not really impressed with the game, other fun games out/ coming out for wii.this one sadly will be passed over.

One down side that got annoying very quick they said the same annoying phrase after each turn. Turn based tho :)

Looks like a everyday JRPG... I'll still get it though.

Haha, I heard the VA was awful. It's not horrible, but it's far from the best. It definately hearkens back to the Playstation days.

@Gelugon_baat ah I see that makes sense ;) I kind of think cheesiness adds to charm in a lot of these JRPG's though so perhaps it wont bother me much

@uglypinkmoose The other voices are okay, but do keep in mind that they appear to be no more than monologues in this video. What if the decent voice actors/actresses have to engage in dialogue with the less impressive ones? Mediocrity can be rather infectious, so the decent ones may sound just as terrible in conversations with the lousier ones. That is why I prefer a voice-over option where I don't understand a single thing uttered so I don't have to suffer cringe-worthy choices of words. :D

I don't like the purple haired chicks voice but the game is lookin good I can't wait ;P

This LOOKS like a stellar RPG, but it SOUNDS like garbage. Here's hoping the music drowns out those voices, or you can turn them off.

more dialog please!

this looks neat, but a few more variations on the dialogue wouldn't go amiss. even switching to Japanese would be repetitive and grating fairly quickly.

Ok, whos idea was it for them to repeatly talk when its there turn? We know your ready for battle first guy, you only have to answer your call once lady and the yes blonde hair guy we are ready ( clearly he didnt hear the first guy say ready for battle)

Love the game been waiting a year for it to come out but sadly the voices sound so plain its like they have no feeling or passion during the attacks

Looks like it will be a good game, but I agree with Gohan_Egret the voices are bland and boring. Hopeful I will be able to turn them off in the options.

Ignition should never be allowed to localize games again. The voice acting is atrocious.

Awesome gameplay here. The magic and fighting remind me of Skies of Arcadia :)
