When I read the previews and watched the videos I thought to myself, "That's pretty cool". It is pretty cool, but "pretty cool" doesn't quite cut it.
I am a big Aqua Teen Hunger Force fan, which allowed me to enjoy this a lot more than anyone else. It's a very short game, and I think the developers could have done a much better job. It definitely could have been longer, maybe 18 holes. That's my opinion. I've already collected everything and beaten the game twice.
You are Shake, you run around golf courses, beat up whatever is in your way, and try to par the hole after beating the boss at the green. Every once in a while there will be a cart race. The races are very easy, just like the combat and bosses. By the way, everything explodes. Everything.
I would have rated this lower than I did, but the extras are what give it the "oomph" that the gameplay lacks. Once all of the Broodwich pieces are collected, you can watch a sandwich battle of the ages. Sheer excellence. I suppose a true ATHF fan should rent this. The multiplayer is fair and okay if you're really bored. Only buy this game if it's really cheap.
