I have loved the Ace Attorney series, but even I am getting fatigued after this fourth title. This game felt totally alien from the earlier titles, with very few familiar characters. This was its own world, and while the writers did a clever job of linking all four episodes, I think I prefer the looser style of the earlier games. This series has never been about the graphics for me, its the logic, thinking through a crime and the facts to that ah-ha moment. There were few of them in this game. The first case was probably the most intellectually satisfying for me, with the rest becoming more narrative than interactive. Still a solid title for the DS, but I'd like to see some changes, a rework of the whole game rather than another rehash next time. Better graphics on this title, but again, that didn't make a big difference for me, this is all about story and writing. Thought the Gavin character was rather lame as an attorney, and Wright just looked odd with his hat and disheveled look. Didn't buy it.
