If you ignore all the flaws,APEX can be a pretty good game.Even though I recommend Fo-rza and Project Gotham.

Milestone decided on creating an Xb-ox-only racing game.The result was only good,not perfect,Let's get on with the review here,its good,my main criticisms are:the fictional ads["Yeah!",is not a smart idea for a pop,but where am I gonna see a Coca-Cola ad in games these days?!. Excessive use of British-English,[I know nobody in Kansas City that calls a parking lot "car park",Rubber-band and dumb AI,[it says it's supposed to be a simulator,but the AI is controlled by a 2 year old.And NO RETRY!!!One time,i was playing a 1 lap event,i was losing,i paused it,only options were to continue and fail the event,or quit and still lose!And i did lose,if only the developers would'nt be such lazy low lives,i,and many other gamers could win every single time they got behind the wheel of a race car,and the interior of the car never changes!{Please note that a Corvette C5-R has only one seat and roll cages and all that race car stuff,in the game,it has 2 seats and can be driven on the streets,and see a good Hollywood car chase with it being the "Eleanor" Corvette.But,the racing and the excellent car collection protect it from being the worst game of it's kind,despite it's punishing difficulty and not being newbie-friendly.If you want a perfect Xb-ox or Xb-ox 360 exclusive racer,look towards Fo-rza Motor sport or Project Gotham,which do not include APEX's cons,and do offer a retry option,licensed soundtrack,and real world advertising and tracks.Both of those titles support split-screen and on line multiplayer,while APEX has only a 2 player split screen mode and does not support Xbox Live,so there's not a lot to do for multiplayer,and focuses on single player gaming.Let's review the "Dream mode".First of all,the Dream mode is the career mode,and you have to choose a 1 out of 3 convertibles to develop.You also have to choose a name for your company and a logo,although they're all dull.Why would i choose a logo based on an already existing company?As you progress,you develop more cars,win races,expand your company,and make headline news.Overall,it's only good,and can't go further,so i'm giving APEX a...7.5,out of 10.
