Ape Escape is still as crazy and silly as ever but that doesn't stop it from being enjoyable.

Ape Escape 3 is a fun and very silly game. If you've played previous Ape Escape games you'll immediately peg the gameplay and the storyline. The one thing you won't get when you start is the new morph feature. This allows you to morph into diffrent personas such as a knight each persona brings his or hers special abilities into the game (eg. the kinght being able to defend himself from fire). You can also pick a starting character Satoru or his little sister Sakura of the two Sakura is easier beacuse she's a pop star some monkeys will fall on their bottoms and admire her. At the core of things this is pretty similar to other Ape Escape capture all the monkeys this isn't a bad thing however as finding out how to capture each monkey is as fun as it is challenging. Each monkey has it's own personality how it reacts to you and if it's as aware as other monkeys are. Soundtrack here does not dissapoint with Pink Monkey battle and the song you can buy once you beat the game are big highlights of how musical this game can get. Each levels soundtrack and costume has a nice beat and rythm to it the makers of Ape Escape have proven once again that they can do quality soundtrack so that you want to listen to it time and time again. Ape Escape has alot of lifespan to it the bonus minigames even one based on Metal Gear Solid. There's more to go back for even after you've beaten the main storyline (more monkeys get loose for example) so there is lots to do. Ape Escape is on of the silliest games on the PS2 but it is a quality game with excellent soundtrack and gameplay if you haven't played an Ape Escape game you simply must.
