How do I get past the final boss?

I don't mean the robot, but the monkey guy, he keeps spinning and killing me, how do I defeat him?

1.Get Specter out of his robot.2Use Fantasy night on him.3When he sumonds His robot,Jump over the incoming shock waves.4 Collect any item he leaves behind. hope this helps!!!!
