Awesome! Just what the us fly boys/gals needed!
The game start you out with some flight training (with easy controls), showing you how to fly and use the weapon systems. Once you graduate from flight school, you unlock the 'Realistic' difficulty/ flight handling. In the first mission, your forward base is being attack, throwing you right into the action. The game takes off from there. You will find yourself in air to air combat against enemy Hinds and drones (which can be rather challenging), sending hellfire missiles into the windows of enemy vehicles, and shooting at infantry with the 30mm cannon while looking through the FLIR.
I can't say much about the online play so far, as there is no one playing it online. But, if people start buying it and playing it, the online play will be something great! But the free flight/ missions are fun!
All in all, this is what I, and I'm sure many other aviation buffs, have been waiting for! This Apache sim/ game delivers all the way and will make for hours and hours of white knuckle flying, especially when people start playing online!
Now go buy it already and lets get online!
