The game is great! Very addicting, many activities to do, and very fun. It keeps up with the date and time, celebrating the holidays in real life. I had played it a small bit at my friend's before I decided to get it myself. There are many things you can do and you aren't pushed to do anything, like any other games where you have to follow the story and can't do any of the free stuff you would like to do.You can fish, catch bugs, shop, make money, model your house, chat to your neighbors, and almost any other thing you would like to do. I loved it, but it can only last so long. After maybe a year or two and you will end up doing the same thing all the time, the fun will run out. But until then it is a great game and I would proudly recommend it to anybody that has a gamecube and has never played an Animal Crossing.
