One of those games that is so different from anything out there that you just can't put it down.

Before I say anything, I would just like to fill you in on my Animal Crossing story. I remember when I was in 6th grade (2002), I saw this game being reviewed in Nintendo Power. I already wanted to buy it, and I had never even seen or heard anything about it aside from that one review. I finally rented it for a weekend and finally owned it when I got it for Christmas. 8 years later, being a junior in college, I have purchased a DS and Wii solely to buy this game. I'm serious.

Anyway, this is the original game that started it all. From the train trip to the town you name, the choice of what house you want and the ensuing adventure after that, you will be entertained for hours and hours. You have thousands of options for how you want to decorate your house, celebrate certain holidays, etc and there is almost never a boring moment. And if there is, then just go to your house and play yourself some SNES. Yeah, you heard me, it is an amazing addition to the game. This game will bring you hundreds and hundreds of memories. You won't be disappointed by this game.
