Why is this game so addictive? I mean, all you do for the most part is run around talking to the various animal folk, fish, dig holes, write letters, and shop for clothing and furniture. On paper the game doesn’t seem like it has a lot to offer, but once you start playing, you’ll find yourself immersed into a world that’s sometimes far less stressful than your own. One of the things I love about this game, is that it brings me back to my youth where collecting this was fun. You can write letters to your neighbor and give them presents and in return they usually give you something back. It’s exciting to see what new item you will receive and you always hope that it will match your current housing décor. The games graphics are nothing to get your knickers in a fancy, but the game’s cutesy style creates an atmosphere where next generation graphics isn’t necessary. The songs in the game match the cuteness of the characters. My favorite song featuring random “meows” always puts a smile on my face and a confused look on my cats face. I enjoyed this game a lot, and if you’re looking for a game with a different pace with no real goal in the game I recommend giving this game a try.
