Taking a step back from Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, we look at Animal Crossing. The Gamecube version of one cute, relaxing game. This game didn't work on extensive multiplayer elements in the same ways as WW and CF. In fact, this games version of multiplayer consisted of a seemingly overcomplicated memory card data transfer, appearing quite useless. But that's okay, that wasn't really all that important for gameplay, or anything in fact. Animal Crossing set you up in your very own, personalized and customizable world. Featuring real time day changes. I personally was never quite patient enough to wait around for the next day, so changing the clock in the main screen proved easier, and largely quicker. This never took away from my gaming experience though, I still cultivated every moment of Animal Crossing my brain could stand. Spending days of my life fishing, digging, shopping, swinging, shaking, talking, running, etc. in a 5x6 acre world.
