In response to the idea of an AC character being in a Super Smash Bros. game.

"There are no good fighters in the Animal Crossing series"

    *sighs and shakes his head*

There aren't any fighters in the Animal Crossing universe. They just aren't fighting material. Why would you want to beat up these cute, lovable animals anyway?

~Be glad we got a Animal Crossing themed stage in Brawl. ;D

Nah. I'd rather have Mayor beating the **** out of stuff with tools.

I was thinking more along the lines of the player character being included. His/her moveset could include the different tools. I'm pretty sure we are all guilty of assault with the net in the AC games. Why not in SSB.

Ressetti could use his anger to good use in a Smash Bros. game. That would be like anger management to him.

She was walking on a stage after the play was over. Who now could say it had ever happened.

    final smash ideas

shoot your slingshot into the sky. Gulliver's ship crashes on the field and explodes.

a fountain appears in the middle of the field from which Serena emerges. she creates a shower of axes (both gold and silver).

Kappa'n mows down anyone in his path with his bus/cab.

Phyllis wanders the field for a while and backhands the first opponent she encounters, sending them to their deaths.

I think it should be you control a standard AC character, and the different combos/attacks use various neighbors with tools. For instance, over + b might be Resetti digging a tunnel in that direction, or down + b could be one of the tough neighbors hitting that spot with a shovel. Something along those lines.

Plenty of SSB characters arent "fighters" exactly.
Like R.O.B.... Hmmm, well I just looked over the roster
and I guess R.O.B. is the only character that hasnt fought
anything, but I mean characters like Pokemon Trainer and
    Pokemon only fight for sport...

Well, idk but I dont think a character has to be a "fighter"
to get in SSB, I mean the AC humans are plenty violent
since theyre controlled by people, I have hacked plenty
of villagers with my axe, lol.

Oh, and Dr. Mario is a doctor for heaven's sake!

But ROB and Dr. Mario can be turned into fighter (especially considering Dr. Mario is technically Mario). Whereas the Animal Crossing humans have no physical traits that show any possibility that they're fighting material.

Unless cute faces and thin giggly arms = Hulk Hogan.

What's wrong with cute characters being fighters? Jigglypuff and Pichu say Hi.

I can totally see Tom Nook in there. He is the closes thing to a mascot in Animal Crossing universe.

Yep. I could SO see Nook in a SSB game. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he ever was.

Ok. If we want to talk about people who aren't fighters. Princess Zelda and Princess Peach. They never fight in their relative games, they're always being kidnapped and rescued by Link or Mario. Mr. Game & Watch doesn't fight either, he just plays mini-games.
