I am not that much of a fan of the ds..... Sorry if that offends you in any sort of way at all. I don't like the pen or the tiny screen. The fact that it is a ds game is one of the reasons I do not like it. I would rather (and I do) play city folk. But I have to admit, it is much better than the game cube version of this game. It has its faults (and to me, a lot of them) and I liked city folk but I did not like this one very much. If you have a wii, get city folk. But, its still pretty good so, if you do not have a wii, I would get this instead of the gc one. I do not like the ds. Sorry, but some of this game is just a total let down. But, it is pretty good compared to the short, easy, boring game cube version of the game animal crossing.
Game cube version- Animal crossing population: growing Rating- 3.4
Wii version- animal crossing: city folk Rating: 8.9
Ds version- animal crossing: wild world Rating: 5.0
