A sequel to a great game

User Rating: 8.5 | Animal Crossing: Wild World DS
It's time for the Animal Crossing Wild World Review. For the DS.

This game is the sequel to Animal Crossing for the Gamecube, which I reviewed before this.

Like Animal Crossing, you are moving into a town to start a new life. There is no exact story, and is open ended so you can do whatever you want.

You arrive at Town Hall. Speak to Pelly, who will show you your house. There is only one house, as opposed to 4. You have to share if you have more people, which I didn't really like. This means you have to agree on a theme for your house. However, as you upgrade your house, you can make the home bigger and add more rooms. That means each of you have a space to design. Have fun! You can also work together to pay off your house, which was a good idea.

A new feature in the game is that you can open up your town and people can visit. You could do this in the original, but you can't play with up to 3 other people at the same time. This was fun, because you can find other fruits and do all sorts of things together, like fish, trade items, and all sorts more.

Remember when I said in the previous review, the hours were inconvienient? Well, that problem had ended. Instead of 9 am to 10 pm, the hours are 8 am to 11 Pm for all the stores. These are much more conveinent for me.

If you have Nookingtons, there is a hair styler. You can get your hair changed for 3,000 Bells. Tell her what you want, and she does it. It's fun actually.

There is Wi Fi in this game. You can open your gate to Wi-Fi visitors, but they need your friend code. There is a good reason for this, to prevent strangers from visiting and destroying everything.

Animal Crossing Wild World is a great game. Even though it is very similar to the Gamecube version, they changed things around and I was able to play it on the go. Also, it's very addicting. The only downsides were that they removed the cheat code system, which is how I paid off my loan quickly, but this gave a bigger challenge. Also, you had to share a house, which means you had to agree on what you wanted to put in, but that comes with an upside, you can work on the loan together.

In the end, this game gets the same score as before, 8.5 out of 10 with the title of Great.
