There's no denying that we've have all heard of Angry Birds or at least played a level on either mobile phones or handheld devices. The series has become so huge its one of the most recognisable logos through out the world. It was first released on Apple iSO's back in 2009 but after that it made it's way onto multiple systems and platforms; it even expand to toys and board games.
The whole plot and element to Angry Birds in general is getting revenge on the Green Pigs that have stolen their eggs, using the unique powers of each bird to destroy the pigs fortresses.
Gameplay: Using the torch screen you can pull your catapult to pull and aim on where you want to fire your bird. After firing your bird in the air, you can see if your bird has smashed through the pigs fortress or getting rid of any green pigs, you can use the torch screen to tap on the bird then their flying in the air to do some more damage to either the fortress or the extra boost.
Through out the stages you play through you'll unlock more birds which have different attacks and elements like the blue birds can multiply by three, by tapping on the bird. Yellow birds are more like the speed type birds that can smash throuh objects either wood or stone, and the white birds can drop egg bombs from above by tapping on the bird you fire; There are more birds to unlock and you'll use quite a lot later on in other levels. At the end of each level you'll get a rating from 1-3 star rating the less birds you use the more points and the chance of getting a 3 star rating.
Graphics and Sound: With it being a flash styled game this could have been a lot better as a PC game or if not a flash game if you use sites like Newgrounds.com for its flash movies and games made by anyone. Its 2D cartooney style graphics do make a good impression for Angry Birds on mobile devices, most of the levels are pretty decent to look at and seeing the pigs fortress being stacked up or scattered across the level.
There has been recent updates for Angry Birds which you can download and install at anytime but its unlockable levels and later levels can feel a little repetative pending on how much you love these Angry Birds. That said the only sounds you'll be hearing are explosions and crash noises and of course bird tweeting or chirping away from start to finish.
Overall: With it being free on Android what is there not to complain, over 300 levels it should keep you busy if your at home or on the go but do keep in mind that it can drain your battery on your phone. There are unlockable easter eggs which are scatted across various levels which can unlock a few surprises and plus there's other levels with multiple themes being added in. The first half of Angry Birds leads to a good start but you find much else through later levels.
