Goes from easy to hard too quickly
I really thought the "look" of the game was unique. My wife was watching me play and commented, "You always find the craziest games!" She liked the way it looked and was interested. But she, too, agreed that it got way too difficult in short order.
Take "Portal." That game started off very fun, very unique, but the descent into difficulty was more gradual. I didn't start failing repeatedly until much later into the game. With "And Yet It Moves" I started failing repeatedly within the first few minutes. Like, I was into the game for about 20 minutes then died 30 times in a row. I uninstalled the game and will never play it again. In my opinion, that sort of trial and error is not fun.
I know, I know, lots of people enjoy "trial and error" situations. I don't. I don't like to lose. I don't like to die. To me, that isn't a measure of difficulty - it's just dumb. I didn't play the early console games (way back in the day) for this very reason. It wasn't until RPG and Adventure games for PC came about that I started into gaming. So that will help you gauge my opinion about "And Yet It Moves." Obviously others will strongly disagree with my thoughts. That's to be expected.
But the bottom line: if you don't mind trial and error, the feel of this little game is quite cool. It certainly looks crazy. That's what caught my eye. But I didn't enjoy the gameplay. Read other reviews to get a less biased idea. Peace.
