I believe starting a private match fills empty slots with bots. They should have that in the other modes.
But yeah impatient ppl who don't stick around in lobbies 5 minutes is annoying so are those who stay for one game despite waiting 10 minutes to get the match started.

It was such an awesome game. There were over 300 skills to chose from five schools and you had to build a "deck" of 30 to use. It worked like a mix of a card game and an action game. Way more skill and strategy in it than this game.

Unfortunately, the servers were shut down so there's no online play anymore but the bots and splitscreen are enough. Hoping for an XBLA release but I doubt it.

Hence why s/s (or LAN) is such an important feature in games where multiplayer is so integral to the core product. If only developers would start acknowledging this.

Totally agree with you TC. I was looking forward to this game since it was announced. I even replayed Bayonetta before this game came out cause I thought I'd be using her all the time in multi and I'd wanna play it again.
This game will probably be my biggest disappointment of 2013 lol and the first months not even over yet.
The soundtrack in multiplayer is abysmal, but SP had a few good tunes while beating up generic thugs.
The graphics are 2005 launch worthy.
The netcode is very bad for a game that is about the multiplayer
The only good news for you people, is I sold this game, so maybe someone else will like this turd and youll be one step closer to filling out a lobby lol enjoy your wait.

In all fairness, I love EDF and I've played a ton of dynasty warrior games but I don't know if I can force myself to play this game any longer. I'm going to try though especially since I've only just unlocked bull and haven't played online yet but wow... It's tough to like so far. Maybe it's because I was hyped for it and expected too much.

Ok I will feed the troll: this game was not made for campaign, it was made for the chaotic multiplayer. Locked characters were in a lot of fighting games back in the day and the "arcade mode" or "story mode" was use to unlock the characters. It's weird to call a game bad just for being old school. If you're not into old school-type games then you don't have to play it. I can tell you're only going by the IGN reviewer instead of judging it for yourself. You shouldn't call games bad just because of a reviewer's opinion. It just makes you look foolish. With all that being said this game has its problems but it's still a fun chaotic game nonetheless. I give it at least a 7.3.
It's crazy how much that IGN review affected this game for some people. Whats even more surprising is that Gametrailers, as much of gaming snobs they are. gave this game a 7.5 or so.

If I play, buy or even follow a game, I have... anyone has the right to critique it. If this piques your ire so much, a) do not read these objective posts, only the fanboy drivel you find agreeable (there's an 'ignore' function at this site, BTW) or b) scrutinise the game(s) to find out why they're attracting gamer derision.

While I don't think it's as bad as TC says, I must say I'm not a fan of Anarchy Reigns. I love P* and I usually support their games, which is why I picked this up. But for me this is their worst game. With that said, I still respect them as a developer and will be picking up Metal Gear Rising later this month.

Still love it despite some quirks.
Also can't wait for MGS: Revengeance and The Wonderful 101 when it hits. Love Platinum.
