If I play an imported copy on my north american console, can i get banned for playing online?

Just wondering if there was any possibility of being banned for playing the Japanese import on xbox-live with my north American console and gamertag. Wanted to clear this up before buying the max anarchy/ anarchy reigns import.

Of course not, that would be stupid it's already out in japan and the game is region free. Platinum would have to notify Microsoft if they wanted people to get banned for playing their game.
