I have a huge obsession with the Electronic form of music. I listen to rave, acid, techno, and all the sorts, and when I got a hold of the game Amplitude, I was stunned. The vibrant colors will keep your friends entertained while you button mash your way through various songs that all have a good sense of rhythm and speed. The more you play on the hard side, the easier it will become. I played this game all the way through the hardest difficulty (INSANE) and I am still not even close to being a master.
If you want a game that will make your reaction time increase, thought process speed up, and make your brain start thinking about hitting the L1,R1, and R2 buttons in class all day long, then this is definitely a game that will need to be in your library!
