It takes a lot of practice to get going, but is not too hard once you get the hang of it. Some of the things in the game are somewhat annoying though, such as finding the snowmen, which requires you to keep going through the same courses over and over just to try and find them. Also, the jumps in each course are somewhat difficult to pull off depending on your character. I got to a point where I was jumping way too far so that I could not land soon enough in order for the game to recognize that I had completed the jump, so I think the landing points should be more flexible and depend on the skill level of the character. I would also like to see more real-time effect to the career mode, such as being able to schedule events in a year in order to watch yourself evolve over time. As is, time is not really a factor and you can just keep trying over and over again endlessly on each course and event until you get it right. You have a lot of different courses, as well as "photo sessions" where you try to do a certain jump for a photographer, and "style" sessions so to speak where you try to impress a sponsor by doing certain tricks that the sponsor likes. Each time around is slightly different, but the courses get old if you have to keep doing them to find things, like the jumps and snowmen. Plus, if you miss them, you have to either quit out or run the whole course and try again. It can be very tedious for those people that like to try to get everything. I can say that I have found everything and know where they are, but the heck if I could get my character to actually do every jump and knock over every snowman.
