Check out this awesome new trailer for Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
Man hahaha just the warning sigh got me scared. It took me a few minutes just to start the video. But at least I wacthed it. It scary and I bet this was a baby video compare to the other video with monsters hahaha.
If I want to stay awake at night in the lights I know what game I wiil play. I only need 5-6 pair of pants and a new heart.
I dont do much PC gaming, but this one has me curious...looks like something I should play in the dark, but probably won't because I'll get too scared :)
This game is truly awesome ... but scary as hell. Started playing months ago, haven't finished yet because it's too creepy :c
Oh...my...God! If only I had a newer computer to handle the graphics...(sighs). This is like a nightmare come true to me (I mean that in a good way). Everything adds to the creepy factor in this game: the sudden quickening of breathing with each scary moment, footsteps echoing against a dead-quiet background, creaking doors, peaking around corners for God knows what!! If you're a horror fanatic like me, it's like dying and going to a blissfully twisted hell, hahaha!
The thing about those games is that you can't stop playing, even if every scene gives you a heart attack. The fact that you can peek on corners is kinda useless, since you need to run when facing whatever that thing was. I find it better to go heads on with the scare. Being able to drag stuff in front of the door is nice, and opening the door just a bit to see if there's anything on the room was awesome. Lots of bricks to be shat on this game.
How can anyone play this scary game. OMG! lol Funny as hell how the character peeps around the corner first.
Nail biting stuff, makes a change from most horrors, see a zombie, kill a zombie, find a puzzle piece, on so on. I like the look of this one, one to keep my eyes on I think.
It has a vibe that every horror game should have. Also: "Oh pissing blimey! There's jam coming out of the walls!"
WOW......this kinda reminds me of Call Of Cathulu....well not in gameplay ofcourse but defenitely in concept
HAhaahhaa! Crazy stuff. Just loved how your character gets startled even at the sight of a fly. Good stuff, and you know it is when you crap your PJ's while hysterically laughing at the situation.
absolutely not. no. uh uh. poke around for days and then hide in a closet? this game looks like poop. sorry guys
@Tuppe666 Well it's a shame they didn't put more into their other games, I've ordered overture and once I get that and complete it I'm gonna get Amnesia Dark Descent 'cause it looks kick ass!
As much as i want to play this game, im a real sucker for horror games, they scare me more then any movie could because you feel mroe involved like you're there, plus you have to make the decisions and the next move.
@Satanic-Angel Yes I knew about them(They aren't Penumbra 2 and 3 they were released something like in few months) and I played them both, but they weren't that good to mention, I'd had almost preferred to have only Overture and put the extra time on this. Requiem is just Black Plague expansion, I think I didn't even finish that one.
Oh yes! I loved Penumbra Overture and I had already buried my thought about Penumbra 2 but I suddenly found this. Immitiately when I saw: "From the creators of Penumbra", sold. The only game I've got scared, fears etc. have nothing on this. 15euros from Steam is a steal.
