Ok, so I disco bowled once with my bad hand because my good one was in a full-arm cast, right, and I sucked of course. However, there was a chance of me doing better than abysmal because I could move and aim. Maybe I could bowl with a curve? Perhaps I could even alter the amount of force I used! After a few hours of watching people make out ~on~ the opposing lane and my friend crying in the corner for some weird reason, I landed a strike. I was proud until of course more bad things happened that day, but that's another story.

This... disc with data on it, however... this soulless round yet flat piece of plastic... this is not bowling. I might not be a bowling connoisseur. I'm not even much of a loyal bowling enthusiast, you see, but I know a broken interface and a boring "game" when I see one. Adjust your power is a timed minigame that doesn't work, setting a curved trajectory is like programming in BASIC or COBOL or whatever, and you can't save your stats...

When I want to play bowling on my PS2, I'll play the bowling minigame in the Prince of Tennis Smash Hit! 2. The controls are better, they actually respond!, the music doesn't make me want to jam nails through my fingers, and while graphics don't matter, I'd rather not look at the horrible sights in AMF Xtreme (with a capital X!!!) Bowling. The bowling balls looked outdated! How does that happen? They're spheres! And the people made me long for the graphics of MDK. You remember MDK, anyone?

I rated this game 1-1-3-3-2 because it looks like the letter "b" and to be fair since I would've rated it less if the Gamespot reviewing algorithms weren't so crummy... See? Reviewing this game is making me angry. lol
