A quite short game for those who like their adventure-games with easy problem-solving tasks.

This is the first Benoit Sokal's game (A Belgian comic artist and a video game developer). If you are familiar with his other games and like them, then you might also enjoy this.

Amerzone reminds me of few other games from its time: It has a Myst- kind of feel to it, although the graphics aren't as good and the problems aren't as difficult. Dracula resurrection (and Dracula: The last sanctuary) for Playstation seem the closest games to Amerzone: They work exactly in the same way. (Both are Microids games so they might have had some same game-developers).

Good:

+Interesting plot
+Old school adventure game
+Uses analogs (that are a must have in a Playstation-adventure game)


Bad:
-Graphics might be better in a PC version, they are not that great in this Playstation version

By the way: I found a bug in Chapter 3, so if you want to make sure that you don't get stuck, make another copy of you save just to make sure. I had to start from the beginning!
