First Impressions: Potentially good game, but ridden with unreliability.

User Rating: 1.5 | America's Army 3 PC
The game itself has quite a lot to offer, but it has one humongous drawback - the database servers. Took 3 attempts to create a soldier, meaning the game was ended as a process from the task manager. Then comes the training. You complete one course, the very basic obstacle course, and your profile is saved at the end. As you carry onto the next training mission (with rifles) things get irritating. As you finish it and qualify for almost a perfect score (38/40 hits) the game starts updating your soldier profile. You wait, and wait, and wait, the circles just keep on spinning and spinning. 5 minutes later, nothing happens and all you see is those circles spinning around and a message saying "Contacting database server."
Then - you try again. Start all over, do everything as good as the first time, and it starts to update the profile - game crashes.

The game does hold a lot of potential good quality fun and some solidity in terms of tactical combat, but these few drawbacks really make things upsetting and just denies you to play the game to its full throttle.

By far, the game is a disappointment, even though it's free. Would you pay to have the game fully functional? I would.
