Yes, a rip-off... even being free.

I'm a great fan of tactical-military games. Be it the adrenaline pumped CQB of S.W.A.T. or the more tactical yet tense approach on R6, or even the stealthy take on combat from Splinter Cell, if it's tactical, I've played... Read Full Review

I'll make this short: go back to playing AA2

As a long time player of AA:2, I am thoroughly... and i mean thoroughly disappointed in the new release (AA3). Only 4 maps, already no more updates (as of 2011), and performance is ABYSMAL. Play the pipeline map and s... Read Full Review

    America's Army 3 Review

America's Army 3 is a great game but it takes lots of skill. This game is not for rookies. It is a pretty hard game. This game has army training and multiplayer. The only thing bad about it is this program with it called... Read Full Review

America's Army is a free to play multiplayer first person shooter, designed by the United States Army as a recruitment tool. The game is as realistic as it can get, there is no re-spawning and healing injured soldiers i... Read Full Review

AA3 is a great game. One of the best multiplayers around

I've been playing AA since the early years, and I really think that AA3 is the best of all. The gameplay is just as any athor FPS, "W" to go forward, "X" to prone ecc. So I decided to select the easy difficulty for t... Read Full Review

    A great simulator.

This isn't a game. This is pretty much the third military simulator. Every part of it is realistic, and isn't a waste of time like call of doody 4. This isn't a simple run and gun. This is a hard tactical shooter with te... Read Full Review

    Great concept - sloppy execution

The long awaited sequel brought some improvements to the table, but not enough considering all the problems that followed. In its initial stage it was nearly unplayable for me, but good things come to those who wait and ... Read Full Review

Made me quit America's Army for good.

I have been playing America's Army games for years. I have been completely addicted to them. When AA3 got released I was like a little girl, happy to find in a box, a happy hamster that I always wished for, only to open ... Read Full Review

If you rate this game 1.0 you either didn't give it a chance, can hardly run it, or shouldn't be playing America's Army.

That's the bottom line, if you're an old time Americas Army fan keep in mind that AA 1.0 wasn't perfect, it was bug ridden and messed up too. Give this game a year or more and it may surprise you. There are bugs which... Read Full Review

AA3 is free, but in this case, you certainly get what you pay for...

I have been playing America's Army since around the time version 2 was released. The overall concept is great; an FPS based on tactical, team-based, realistic simulation and the SOP's of the United States Army. Sadly... Read Full Review
