Combat in American McGee's Alice is monotonous, but superb music and an interesting, dark tale will keep you around.

Repetitive and unimaginative gameplay, especially by modern standards, but great story and visual style.

A third-person shooter - go from A to B - kill a lot along the way. Memorable opponents, great visuals, twisted story.

Definitely worth trying, but as of 2010, do not expect anything spectacular other than the unique atmosphere.

One of that games that after 10 years you get yourself wondering why you miss it so much and why no other feels the same

The absorbing, nightmarish atmosphere sets the stage for a game that's creative and fresh throughout its entire length.

Even after all this time, it is still just as mind blowing as it was when it first came out.
