Alvin and the chipmunks the squeakwel is a classic dancing game in which you use the touch screen to excecute various dance moves to get points, you then move on to a different countrys were the difficulty slightly increases.

The bad: awful graphics,no depth at all,slobish music,no sense of pride in doing well at a level

The good: good variety of different types of dancing actions for individual chipmunks, satisfying and competitive multiplayer,fun to play occasionaly

If you are buying this game cheap and for a long journey then it will serve you well.After the journey you will probably find you have no desire to play it again for a while.

the dance levels are devided up into sections for the different chipmunks.For example with simon you have to tap each of about ten circles when they light up,with alvin you merely slide the pen left, right,up or down when the prompt arrow reaches the middle circle.

The one amusing feature is juke box where you can listen to any song you have danced to in story mode,as long as you have your DS on maximum volume then the sound quality is actually quite good.

Bottom line = buy cheap,gain short but fun play time.
