Whoever designed the controls must have been alone in the dark!

Could've been cool but turned into a big joke! This game had potential. I know it's been out for years but it looked interesting for $10 in the bargain bin. I read some reviews, checked out some images and it looked promising. I'm trying to buy some time before Heavy Rain and after playing Bioshock 2 I was in the mood for some "scary" exploration. This game offers that and might be okay if I could get past the controls.
I just found myself bumbling around too much to stay focused. And trying to fight the zombie enemies is to all over the place. There are some great ideas there and i would love for a game to come out like this again but with some more care put into the game mechanics.
The Central park idea is nice and the puzzles I did get through were very good.

Will someone please make a good horror game with plenty of free roaming, non linear exploration without being cheap. Oh and give the movement and combat a second thought.

I will be more careful in my selection of games from now on!
