It's a baseball game so it can be kind of boring, which is realistic.

This is a decent baseball sim. The players look good and animate pretty smoothly. The stadiums look nice, especially from the wide angle home run view. The controls are fine unless you are trying to control individual base runners. I do have some minor issues with it like the fact that there are about 10 over the shoulder catches per game when your fielders are controlled by the AI, which is, unfortunately, the best way to go. But the worst part of this game, in my opinion, is listening to Steve Lyons' awful commentary. For example, when the batter hits a home run, you may hear him say that the ball was hit so far that the bat boy has to start his car up to go find it!? Since when does the bat boy go retrieve home run balls? Yeah, it's that bad. Another thing that bothered me is how the game's programmers try so hard to get their names in the game, from plastering it all over the outfield walls (I'm looking at you Dan Rubel) to making their own baseball cards. It's sad, really, and only shows how dorky looking they are. No offense.
