Gamespot's review pretty much covered everything. Originally, I downloaded the demo from Steam and after a few minutes of frustration, I attempted to find out more about this game, especially considering the Steam price of $39.99. When I saw it was 3000AD, I immediately knew this would be another failed attempt to produce another "Do-All" flight sim, first person shooter, action game. It fails so miserably from the very onset of the game that it would take a serious hardcore fan of Derek Smart to play it past 5 minutes of aggravation, frustrating bugs and terrible game play. I played the demo with an open mind and hopes that maybe Derek Smart got things right this time. And since Steam had it, I figured someone must have thought this game would go somewhere besides the recycle bin. I was so close to purchasing the game thinking that maybe it was just a bad demo but when All aspect warfare and Angle of attack kept missing their release dates, ranging from 24 hour delays to finally being released "Sometime in August". I knew I best wait for someone like Gamespot to give it a review, and they were right in every way so there really isn't much for me to add. What's sad is that, Angle of Attack, which is basically the flight sim portion of the game is being sold as a separate game when it's exactly the same thing as All aspect warfare minus the FPS. All aspect warfare as well as Angle of attack, both fail miserably and I seriously hope that people who purchased this garbage get some kind of reimbursement. As with all his failed attempts, Derek Smart really should stop. It has been a long many years of trial and error and he just doesn't get it. People can add this game to their collection of trash which will, as with all previous games released by Smart, become free or better left as a bad memory that needs to be forgotten. If you have Steam, just take a look at the game manual and just doing that will show you the poor quality of the effort put into this game and with a $39.99 US price tag, it truly is a laughable joke to even take Derek Smart seriously.
