    i agree with most of Kevin VanOrd reviews but this deserves at least a 7

    i enjoyed it , just some of the maps a very dark ,but i think it deserves a higher score than 5.5. id give it a 7 atleast

    The SP campaign is not worth going back to, this gets a 7 from me, good game.

    I have been thinking for a while and I want to know what your dream AVP game would be from single player to multiplayer. I say try something new and put it in third person but not like Gears of war more like GTA IV. And Let the graphics be much better then GTA IV. Then let you create your character and let you 3 things you are good at. Such as you be bad with a Shotgun and great with a Pulse Rifle then give it a compelling (and Free Roam) story. And with the free roam you pick three objectives (out of six) and you have to complete them within a time frame like dead rising. Then you pick 14 others out of 40 (50 with downloadable content) pre made characters all with different personalities and different fighting styles making every single cutscene different then let you make decisions like kill the girl with a cheastburster or take out of her with the expense of giving it to weyland ytani company or let walk with the few time she has which will trigger a cutscene later resulting in her death. Which will resut in three different alternate endings. And forth if facehugged : ) . Then on top of that there will be 10 different maps all from alien and predator and vs series that will also affect your characters and end choices, plus if you die you once it is game over for your teammates too. For multiplayer there will be 20 maps (40 with dlc) with 10 game modes (14 with dlc).

    I think GS was a little to harsh. Out of over 1000 user scores, the average is 7.5.

    I'm having trouble believing this game totally sucks. It looks more like a 7.5, not a 5.5. Maybe I will pick it up

    I respect the review but i found that the ps3 and pc version of this game were better control why's than 360 i love the game.

    Kevin you have got this review way wrong the controls are alright you just need practise.If you like the movies you will love this game this game has surprised me as how good it is.

    Actually the reviewer wasn't having a bad day? He was basically addressing the problems that very much plague this game. Believe me i loved the old alien vs predator, the 2001 version, but omg i dont know how they messed this game up so bad. The controls are all over the place, and the aliens are the worst to control, believe me i love AVP. However i cannot disreguard when a game has soooo many glitches, that it completely ruins the experinence.

    Even after having this game since release I still find myself keeping it and playing it from time to time, partily because I love the franchise but also because I like the game period.
    Online play is great except for one issue: The matching of players and games is too time-consuming.
    One would think that if the other online shooters picked it up, so should have this one.
    Instead the search for online action in the game takes easily a minimum of 5 minutes and thats almost the time it should take to play an entire match.

    All in all I think the reviewer had a bad day at work and let it taint the review.
    Because if you generally like the type of game this game tries to deliver, you will enjoy it.

    @LeaderOfLies I have it. Don't listen to GameSpot this game is awesome. GameSpot is just being stupid by giving it a low rating. It's better then AvP2 and the first one. Play it, its awesome.
