Gamespot didn't give this game its credit, Same as the monkeys that followed with their user scores. Its actually a pretty decent game. The controls can at times be a bit painful playing as Aliens. But playing as predator and marines they are good. The single player campaign isn't to short, around 10 hours to complete. And the Multiplayer is quite addictive. And playing through as the Predator gets me hyped up for the new "Predators" movie coming out.
its a bad call, just like burke did in Aliens! perhaps rebllion didnt watch the Aliens enuf, before they start working on this game! bull$hit level design, no squad entries :(
the game is not 10 of 10 cuz of the story and the lenght is only 4 hours each species,and about the story it doesnt have the story like AvP 2 form 2001 maybe it deserves more than 5.5 but not 10
I'm not sure if I should buy this or not? Every AVP game I've played has sucked since the Jaguar version and the one before was just a beat 'em up. I've read the comments below, so I'll give it a try, but I certainly hope this isn't dumbed down for 4yr old hardware.
I just Fhinished the game and is worth to play, the campain is Interesting and the visual efects and kill efects are awsome. Don't know why are many tells that is bad Personaly for me The Game Rocks it Have The Right Atmosphere from the movie and its Real Enjoing to Sneak From Behind and Do a stealth Kill ! For me its worth to buy and Play 100% ! Many Thanks For the Developers and Rebelion !
this game gets far to slated for no reason.ok its not perfect.but damn campaign as marine is insanely fun and action packed .visually fair in my opinion..online lets it down as it dont find many games ? people dont seem to be playing it and thats a shame.the games i played online were fun enough!!!! so 5.5 is a really bad choice for a rating .it deserves atleast a 7
Dear avp fans!This game is worth playing it.Good visuals,great sound,nice tension and familiar atmosphere...And bishop`s voice as mister Weyland!What else do we need?Developers didn`t spoil it at all.Trust me.
i know it this will be stupid game so if you make a good trailer doesn t mean the game is the same,everyone try to made a good,impresionant trailer but how about the game? for examples STALKER CALL OF PRIPYAT has a horrible trailers but the game is great now we have to wait till march maybe the metro 2033 will be great how was stalker shadow of chernobyl
how can rebellion screw up a game it has already done?? it boggles the mind. sure the graphics are nice and the executions are cool, but thats it. its actually a DOWNGRADE in most other aspects. far less weapons for pred and marine, flare's light radius is in millimetres, less vision modes, new alien controls suck (what was wrong with avp2 ones) and the same goddam story as EVERY avp thing only with worse dialogue, level design has not changed AT ALL since avp1, absolutely no innovation there. trailer looks SO awesome, game is so poor. PLZ TRY BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!

Wow, this is a pretty cool trailer. I'm enjoy the game so far, its good, not great, but fun nonetheless :-D
i don't believe it!!! i preordered it and it's only available on North America:(.....hate steam so much right now.
Infection Multiplayer mode is awesome. So is Hunter mode, but I wish the Predator started out with some weapons. Overall a pretty good game, but it has it's issues. If you're a fan of the Alien movies and Predator movies, you'll enjoy it.
