IS this a good game to get

This game is great on pc (DLC is still playable on pc version thanks to dedicated servers), underrated and gamespot should be ashamed because they nominated this game for the worst game of 2010 list. Rebellion is not a great developer, i know, but AVP games are always great with Rebellion, i normally agree with Reviewer Kevin but AVP did not deserve this. And the worst part is; people (users) that bought this game looked at gamespot's review and suddenly they also hate the game. Review sites influence the users and that sucks balls :P. I never agree with reviewers if i think a particular game is great, in the beginning Kevin influenced me and i sold AVP but now thanks to steam sales on pc i bought it again, i'm glad i did, pc version is better.

no1 plays this anymore, took me 35mins to find a ranked match, and i still aint played on the new maps, its like im the only fool who has got the map packs.

i heard from a friend they did a bad job on campaign and versus wasn't as good as the avp's on the pc i tried playing the demo vs and i wasn't impressed

This is a Fantastic game, and GS should be ashamsed for the poor 5.5 they gave it

Has anyone played on the swarm map pack in ranked matches? I have it but i never get a swarm map? This game is a fun change of pace from BBC2 & MW2 if only i could get into a match within a minute not freaking 15 minutes sometimes to gt into a game.

This game is so weak i can't even sell it for half the cost...shouldn't of bought this brand new. **Facepalm** X(

@Moogle11293 Fallout 3 is fairly recent. On a side note, people need to stop complaining about having to buy map packs saying that they should come with the game. That would just be stupid. Games like Halo and even CoD have plenty of maps on the disc, and whenever they get a map pack, people have to whine b/c they need to pay for it?? Suck it up, 10 bucks isnt hard to come by. As for the maps themselves, I really want to get them (4 maps for 8 bucks is a sweet deal), but idk if theres anyone still playing online frequently, let alone anyone with the DLC.

the truth is. that the game is not up to the expectation.......i have the game but its still in my cupboard.

Makes me wonder, thanks to consoles I haven't seen an expansion pack in YEARS.

The Singleplayer part is simply way too short.. The Multiplayer part is fair enough.. But if I want a DLC, it's all about the Single player part..

This game is very awesome. Reviewers gave some pretty stupid reasons for not liking it...such as the Predator missions being "too stealthy". Yeah, because Predators aren't known for their stealth... *rolls eyes*

Why is the description 'check out the new trailer for the upcoming DLC including four new THRILLING online map packs' when they said that this game is not that good? Is it because whoever made AVP told them to say that?

Is these video mean that we should be buy the DLC to get the maps WHY we can't download it???????????

the game is very good I play it & it make me live the movie BUT the only bad part is that the story of Predator is short we hube if we can play with him more

I think the game is OK, it's not as bad as people make it out to be.

DLC is such a dumb idea -.- we should get these maps (and other released) with the games itself -.-
