The alien vs. predator games may not be built on the great first person engines of its peers, but they always have one thing going for them... spine tingling spookiness. Granted, a lot of this is due to the liscense, it's hard to screw up the aliens, and they are always gonna be cool baddies. Still, the devs have done a decent job putting you in scary enviroments and giving you that one man with a flashlight feel. Only Clive Barker's Undying provides a scarier first person experience. AVP2 is definitely a game to appreciate with a good pair of headphones and a dark bedroom. Maybe not a classic, but definitely an enjoyable game for what it does. Muliplayer leaves a lot to be desired though.
