With the release of the X360/PS3/PC versions being basically garbage (along with not what they were supposed to look like), do you still have any hope for the Wii U?
Couple of points I've found online:
-SEGA has been saying for a long time that the Wii U version would be the definitive one.
-The Wii U version has *supposedly* been completely developed by Demiurge, as opposed to Gearbox for these other versions. (
http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2012/06/demiurge_studios_handling_aliens_colonial_marines_wii_u and
http://demiurgestudios.com/games)
-The PC version is just a port from the Xbox.
-The trailer ''footage'' had to come from somewhere, right? They could've taken it from the "definitive version"... (Trailer in question:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0oqONEdlzU)As you can probably guess, I'm really hoping that this version will have the creepy atmosphere, dramatic lighting, and strong enemy AI that this game needs. I definitely won't buy it until I see some reviews, though. :/
Thoughts? Comments?

They should not release it as it is.
They should do one of two things:
1
Scrub the port and put the time and money to better use.
or
2
Fix the game.
Make the aliens out to be an actual threat! (rather than target-pratise)
Make the acid blood do major damage. (rather than slowing down your health-regen)
Make the A.I. smarter than a bag of rocks. In-other-words, Aliens crawl through ceiling/walls, ambush you, ect.
(rather than running into your bullets from 30 meters away!)
YOU SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PUNCH THESE THINGS TO DEATH. seriously, wtf.
Remove the invincible space-marine allies. Split-up, or kill 'em off from the start, or something.

I'm with this guy!
However, this game is a hot, steamy pile of poo.
At least Bit.Trip Runner 2 and Zen Pinball 2 should be available before the end of the month!

They should improve the game, i don't care if it takes another year, they have to fix all the stuff that's wrong with it.
But there are even some things that can't just "be fixed", like the fact that you fight humans for 50% of the game, and those blind aliens that explode on contact... i mean seriously? Blind aliens who explode on contact??? SERIOUSLY...?
They would have to change 50% of the game in it's current state for it to become good

Like with Ninja Gaiden 3? WiiU got the best version, but they will now release them to 360 and PS3 too.
But still....WiiU has the best version.

Well... PS3 and Xbox owners (along with sega) should be pissed that the game came out the way it is all together.
At least at this point Sega has a choice of trying to garner some sort of good will by either fixing mistakes or putting the game out of its misery.
