With the light and dark elements of the game it looks like both are going to play an important role in gameplay.

I've been waiting for this game since I was a kid, please Gearbox, do this right and do the movie justice. Although this trailer does look very promising. I'll be crossing my fingers until they fall off from lack of circulation.

I love game play trailers and from the looks of the game this is probably going to be the new benchmarking game for most PC reviewers as well as owners. Every Alien game always scares the crap out of me lol.

I hope the scare level is that of Dead Space 1/2... Just a little bit to make it feel like its not an action game.

i know gearbox isnt realy impressing gamers with BIA(brothers in arms) furious 4 and duke nukem wasnt a hit but this one seems to be promessing

Firstly, its now saturday, so what was coming on Friday? Did i miss it?. Secondly, those worried about multiplayer in this, i dont see it happening. At least playing as the Alien. Single player co-op and MAYBE an online sort of "horde mode". Other than that, cant see it.

Feels like i've been waiting 57 years for this....

Seems to have a great feel of the movies from what I can see which is good. I hope all the sound is perfect too I hate it when they put a different sound in to the way it sounds in the movies. Like the smart gun for example in the AVP game didn't sound right at all.

I think the game looks great but have to agree with TomBrandon121. People forget that what made the films scary was the almost unbearable moments of tension that comes from not knowing is around the next corner. The Aliens have become over exposed. The first film had one Alien and it is amongst the scariest films of all time. Being the Aliens geek that I am, I can't but look forward to this but I hope they up the tension.

Looks great to me. I would love split-screen in multiplayer.

Looks as though there is far too much shooting involved.. I think this game would be far better if they made it into more of a survival horror, with little full blown confrontation with the Aliens. You know, follow the same formula of the films that inspired it.

I'm sure single player will be fine. It's mulitplayer I worry about. That's what killed the last AvP game.

@Jshaw71 Not quite sure how you know what the ai is like in this game, but I have a strong desire to slap you for saying people should stop making aliens games. I also have the feeling that this will be either great or a stinker, but it doesn't mean that this franchise should be dumped. It means Sega should be shot and pissed on for what they've done to it lately. This is their last chance with me. The new AvP isn't all that bad, but most of the player base left cause of the worst matchmaking system in the world (yes even worse than Mw2), but since they included the server browser it's been fun. Thing is there's only ever 25 people on at a time since they screwed the pooch at launch.

Looks promising at least! I already have it on pre-order cuz I'm a sucker for these games. I even liked Aliens Vs. Predator even though most people trashed it. I just hope this turns out to be a genuinely great game.....

I just love the brain dead ai, a fellow marine with the player character and a lein standing in between them and he dose nothing... maybe ppl should stop making aliens games, seems like they can't get it right... but we'll see...

even though i liked the alien films, i didnt like any of the game, but since this has co op splitscreen, first buy for me.

Looks kinda Doomish. But it's still interesting.

This looks like a solid game, but Im worried about length and replayability. If they add features and good replayability, I might get it.
